MongoMail takes online communication to a whole new level, with its aggregated view of messages. Currently allowing for integration with IMAP email accounts, MongoMail provides a MongoDB-based platform for storing and replying to contacts through a simplified self-hosted system that allows for a truly personalized experience that can be easily customized with themes and plugins.
MongoMail utilizes the flexible mongoBase framework for its foundations, which provides a familiar environment for developers already accustomed to the way in which popular CMS systems such as MongoPress and WordPress work. Everything in MongoMail is asynchronous and AJAX-ified, allowing you to reply and forward messages inline. You can also archive messages or save them to your favorites, whilst also making individual message public and easily sharing them across other social-networks.
We believe that the future of communication and predecessor for email is MongoMail, and as more modes of communication are integrated, this will become increasingly obvious.
